“ I recently spent a couple of days in Lake Charles for a funeral. It's been about 1 1/2 years since I last came here. I walked into the bar side of the restaurant and the bartender said, howdy stranger it's been a long time. Would you like a budweiser? Isn't that what you drink? It's been a couple of years.....would you like to order crabs again? Last time you were here was for your daddy's funeral. What brings you back? Well another funeral. I was blown away at how she remembered me, my drink and order after almost two years. Well the crabs did not disappoint. They were spot on with flavor, perfectly seasoned and cooked. I came back the next day to meet family on the restaurant side. My sister was there and she told me they were out of crabs so I was going to pass and keep going to Houston. Well about 30 minutes later she called and new crabs just showed up. So I diverted and was amazed at these crabs, they were brown bellies and full full full. Even better than the day before. I will be back soon before there is another funeral. ”
